Climate

The climate in St. Kitts is tropical, tempered by nearly omnipresent ocean breezes. From December to April, there is little rain in the lowlands and it comes in very short bursts at that, usually in the very early morning.

Hurricanes

The hurricane season officially begins June 1st and extends to November 30th. The primary 'hurricane season', however, is August/September. An old Caribbean saying regarding hurricanes is:
