There is a fine range of restaurants and other eateries in St. Kitts ranging from very informal beach bar & grills to semi-formal dining at well known and established restaurants. There is very little 'fast food' in St. Kitts. Most restaurants are known for having good to excellent food. The service is generally much slower than you may expect in North America, so relax, have a cold Carib and enjoy the beautiful views, friendly people and relaxed atmosphere when you venture out to dine.

I have included most of the restaurants and eateries on the island that are frequented by visitors. If you click the restaurant name on the map, you will see a few pictures and a brief outline of the location, atmosphere, menu and my personal experiences, if I have eaten there.

I am no food critic so I'm not going to get into that. To me, food is either good, excellent or bad. If the particular restaurant is good or excellent, I'll say so. If it's not so good, I probably just won't say much at all as I'm not doing this to irk local businesses. The food is only part of the experience when dining out and sometimes the ambience is more important, or the location, or the staff dynamic or what have you. This is just a guide to help you decide where to try for yourself.
